Engaging portrait photography creates an immediate connection.
Corporate portrait photography has been at the heart of my commercial work for two decades. I aim to create portraits that reveal the subject’s authentic personality and credibility. Occupation and level within the corporation must be added to the mix when considering the style of business portraits. Final images must suit the individual, the organization, and how you will use them. From planning to completion, my portrait photography will fit your marketing and social media needs.
Corporate portrait photography – excellence is just a few steps away.

Commercial portrait photography brings out your best
In my career as a commercial portrait photographer, I am routinely asked to photograph people. As a skilled headshot photographer and group portrait photographer, relating to a wide range of personalities has become second nature. During the session, my interaction with clients encourages appropriate facial expressions and body language, forming images that represent the brand well.
Headshots in the studio
Studio headshots are so easy for the client. With a fantastic lighting setup and a huge variety of backdrops readily available, your custom shoot is pain-free. If you need a business headshot or two and are within driving distance of my Quad Cities studio, this is likely your best choice.
Headshots on location
Personnel headshots
If you have a large number of personnel needing headshots completed in a small window of time, I’ve got you covered. With solid pre-planning and on-site organization, along with excellent portable lighting equipment, and my winning personality, I can bang ’em out if that’s what you need.
Mid-level and executive headshots
Typically, the higher we go up the chain of corporate command, the more attention to detail is expected before, during, and after the photoshoot. Taking a bit more time for each headshot allows me to finesse the images a bit more, examine an individual subject’s attributes, and adjust lighting angles and quality, thereby helping to achieve the best final image.
Adding new personnel headshots monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
Many clients require new employees to be photographed with an identical look to previous shoots. I take notes on all aspects of my lighting and camera settings to give you repeatable results from one session to the next. I can even closely emulate the look that other photographers have created in previous headshots, copying lighting, background, framing, lens choice, and bokeh.
Executive portrait photography
Often an executive portrait shoot of a CEO for an annual report or marketing purpose allows precious few minutes with the executive. I must be well prepared when the exec arrives for the session. Years of experience, assignment-specific planning, scouting, equipment setup, and test shots ensure that I complete the session successfully within the time allotted. There are no do-overs when photographing upper management.
Lifestyle business portrait photography
Creatives looking for portrait photography often want an environmental documentary look with subjects photographed in a more journalistic style as I document them doing what they do at the workplace. This unique style of portraiture produces exciting and relatable images. I am happy to work with you on this style of portraiture.
Group portrait photography on location
Groups of executives or employees take thoughtful planning and scouting. I carefully consider the number of people in the group and evaluate the size, design, and furnishings of the room, often rearranging a few pieces of furniture so I can create a visually attractive grouping. Once started, I keep things rolling and fun. Self-deprecating humor is a vital tool in my toolbox that can warm up even the most resistant in the crowd — efficiency, warmth, and humor equal success.
Touchup for headshots and portraits
Headshot and executive portrait touchup: I include a light touchup of a single final image choice of each person photographed. If more than one image per person requires a touchup, or if the touchup requested demands extensive work, just let me know, and I will factor that into the cost. You may make decisions during the planning stage or after you have examined the proofs.
Touchup for group portraits: This is an add-on service where I calculate costs based on the number of faces you feel require touchup, as well as the level of necessary touchup for individuals within any given image. After examining the proofs, email me a quick list of concerns you would like addressed, and I will respond with the costs involved before beginning the editing process.
